title:Singapore Song Challenge
As Richard and I joined the Singapore Song Challenge, we were rather anxious even in the morning. We've been waiting for this for weeks and it finally arrived. We decided to sing 最近 by 李聖傑. After school, we both went to the toilet to style our hair.Realized that my hair was not really well done,then got Azli to help me style( thanks for helping me, u did a very good job) After that, the event started and our number was lucky number 7. After a couple of bands and singles, it was our turn. I was feeling butterflies in my stomach and very nervous. We sat down on the mini stage, which no other group of performers did. The music started and i was freaking out but i saw all my friends rooting for me and i retained my courage. I sang the first verse very badly because i was nervous. I did not catch the "feel" then it became very mono.As Richard sang, i felt encouraged and began to sing fluently.Until the chorus which i feel is the best part of our song, was the climax, everyone cheered so loud that Richard and I couldn't hear the music and we went off beat. We finished the song quite well.Ya, this is all, i am thaankful for those who supported us.
